Office of Management and Budget

Supporting the County Manager and Board of County Commissioners in the development of the County’s annual operating budget.  

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is a division of the Mecklenburg County Manager’s Office. The division supports the County manager and Board of County Commissioners in the development of the County’s annual operating budget. OMB monitors the County’s budget to help inform management of resources.  

FY2026 Adopted Budget

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners on June 3 adopted the FY2026 Budget. The $2.5 billion adopted budget features a 1.6%, or $39.5 million, increase over the current FY2025 operating budget.
